Design

In printing, design is where art meets science. The combination of the artists’ eye with modern computer technology, allows the designer to compose elements on the page, alter and amend them in a way that would not be cost effective using traditional methods. An informal chat with one of our designers will help you to define your brief, manage your budget and produce an end product with real impact.

 

Files/Software Supported

Customer supplied graphic content and layout files can save significant time and money when prepared properly and in a format compatible with the printer’s software.

Although there are thousands of programs available, most general-purpose graphic design and layout is done with a handful of programs. We support most of these popular programs and can usually develop a way round other programs. Following is a list of our preferred programs and file types:

 

Adobe Illustrator .EPS .AI

Adobe Photoshop .PSD .TIF .BMP .EPS

QuarkXPress .QXD

Microsoft Publisher 2003 .PUB (Save with ‘Pack and Go’)

Adobe Acrobat .PDF (One colour Only)

Other Graphic Programs .EPS

We can accept files by email, CD or disk and also have a broadband connection with FTP facilities if required for larger users.
